What happens when you contact us?
We will ask you a few questions about the vehicle when you contact us. The questions will be either to get a REGO or to ask for the vehicle’s make, model, year, and condition. This will help us put an offer on the vehicle.
How much will I be paid?
The price we pay for a vehicle depends on the make, model, year and condition. In simple words, the more in demand your vehicle model is and the more parts we can salvage the more money you will get. Please note, that not all parts can be salvaged and sold for various reasons such as old or broken. To know exactly how much your vehicle is worth, speak to us now.
How will I be paid?
We pay in cash. We can arrange for a bank transfer as well.
When do I get paid?
You will be paid at the time of removal by the tow truck driver in cash.
What do I need to sell the vehicle?
You will need a valid photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport or 18+ card.
What if I am not the vehicle owner?
You can sell a vehicle if you are the owner or authorised to sell on behalf of someone else.
My vehicle has no REGO / WOF?
No worries, we purchase deregistered and non-WOF vehicles. We are car wreckers which means we will dismantle the vehicle and DO NOT fix them to resell (not allowed to and also it costs a lot). Thus REGO / WOF is not a concern for us.
Do I need to bring the vehicle?
No, we will remove the vehicle for free. If you are in Dunedin or Queenstown and your vehicle has valid REGO and WOF and is driveable then you can drop them at our yards. For customers in the Southland and Canterbury region must be collected by our team.
Will the removal cost me?
No, the removal is always free regardless of your location. We are equipped to remove vehicles of all sizes including semi trucks and 19-wheelers and heavy machinery.
